today when i woke up it gave me a horrible shock.
the glass window is open! oh no!

then... i realised my tortoise is NOT hanging there anymore!!!!

i thought it had dropped down into never never land...

and i sprang up from my bed...

and i found it on the floor :D

i heaved a sigh of relief, made my bed, set my tortoise on top of all my pillows and went to shower.

the juniors must have thought that we were some silly pudding to go school so early in the morning to tune them. cause we didnt want the juniors to touch the tuner.
hahaha yeah right. woke up so early today to go sch to get our cookies. and met elaine jungwen and yanzhu. and miss sia!!
and she looks like she's in a good mood. haha.
listening to hanukkah and i miss my tuba... haha

silly pudding.
hahaha. you wont want to know what happened today.
7-8 hours of baking. puff...
ya.. really got puffed.
2 strawberry tarts and countless swiss rolls. i think i'll hate swiss rolls even more after this project.
the 1st try was totally screwed. strawberry tarts looks nice. but taste HORRIBLE. swiss roll taste nice but looks HORRIBLE.
2nd try was much better. strawberry tart looks nice taste fantastic. just too liquidish.
swiss roll looks as bad.
totally beaten up though it's only 7pm. i can memorize the recipe.
115g of caster sugar mix with 3 eggs and beat it till it looks like mousse and leaves a trail behind for at least 30secs.
fold in [whatever that means] 75g of flour and 1 table spoon of boiling water.
smooth out onto greased and lined tin. bake it for 10mins till golden brown or springs back when touched lightly.
flip over onto caster sugar laid out on grease paper and slice 2/3 through the cake and apply peace jam. roll it while it is still hot.
yeah! and it is done. so simple
try it!
haha. but we always manage to screw it up by breaking the cake while rolling. =(

and de's kitchen now smells like pancake. haha. and her fridge it full of strawberry tarts.
